

Akhila Satish is the CEO and founder of CyberDoctor, a healthcare communications company. CyberDoctor was an early pioneer in the use of technology solutions to clinically improve the patient physician interaction. The company has met with tremendous success, with its products sparking discussion and thought globally. The company’s academic approach to healthcare technology- focusing on the final, measurable clinical outcome of the patient experience- is strongly influenced by Akhila’s experiences within academia. She previously worked in life sciences research at the University of Michigan and the National Institutes of Health. Her published work includes papers in Nature and Human Genomics. Akhila received her Bachelor of Science in neuroscience with honors from the University of Michigan. She holds a graduate degree in biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from the Stanford Graduate School of Business Summer Institute for Entrepreneurship (IGNITE).
